Rakkit Help

How to get set up, how the calls are scored, and answers to the questions we get most.

Step 1

Getting started

  1. 01

    Create your account

One Rakkit account with your email and password. That account follows you into every league you join or start.

  2. 02

    Choose how you play

Join an existing league with its link, start your own league and invite friends, or play solo and keep your own record.

  3. 03

    Pick your favorite team

Your team drives everything — its schedule loads first, its games are highlighted on every card, and it's always the first game in the Rack.

  4. 04

    Head to your home page

Home shows the current week, what still needs a call, your standings snapshot, and shortcuts to the schedule and results.

Ready? Create an account or take a look around first.

Step 2

How to play

The Season Call

Before the season, call your team's full regular season game by game — win or loss for all 12. That's your record on the board for the year.

The Postseason

Then the bigger swings: does your team win a bowl, lose a bowl, or miss a bowl? Who wins each conference, and who wins it all?

The bracket keeps you honest: one national champion, one champion per conference, 12 playoff teams, four semifinalists and two finalists — the app won't let those contradict each other.

Weekly picks

Each week you predict the final score of every game in that week's Rack — not just the winner. Your score also decides the spread and over/under calls automatically, so one number covers it all.

Only the current week is open, and each game closes at its own kickoff. Everything is shown in Eastern Time.

The Rack of games

In a league, the host builds the weekly Rack: the favorite team's game is locked in first, then the host adds three to five more — ranked matchups, conference games, or whatever's worth arguing about that Saturday.

Scoring

Points are additive. No confidence multiplier — every game counts the same.

  • Exact final score20 pts
  • Correct winner10 pts
  • Covers the spread10 pts
  • Over / under10 pts
  • Exact margin of victory10 pts

Perfect game = 60 points

Sharing your picks

Share your card before kickoff and your predicted scores stay hidden — friends see the matchups with __?__ where your numbers go. After the games go final, the full card and your points are on the record.

Questions

FAQ

When do picks lock, and why can't I see next week yet?

Every game closes at kickoff — once the ball is in the air that call is on the record. Rakkit follows the real football calendar, so only the current week is open. The next week's slate appears after the last game of the current week goes final (noon Eastern the following day).

Why does my team's schedule look wrong or missing a game?

Schedules, kickoff times, spreads and totals come from a live college football data feed. Non-conference dates and TV windows move all season, and lines only post a few days out. If a game still looks wrong after a refresh, send it to us through Contact & feedback with the matchup and week.

How is scoring calculated?

Points are additive — there is no confidence multiplier. Exact final score is worth 20. Correct winner, covering the spread, the over/under, and the exact margin are each worth 10. A perfect call on one game is worth 60 points.

Can I change a pick after I submit it?

Yes — right up until that game kicks off. Re-open Weekly Picks, change the score, and the new call replaces the old one. After kickoff the pick is frozen.

How do I invite friends to my league?

Every league gets its own address, like rakkit.online/yourleague. Share that link — friends land straight on your league, create an account, and join.

How do private leagues work?

When you create a league you can set a password. Anyone with the link still needs that password to join, so your league stays to the people you invited.

Do I need a league to play?

No. Play Solo lets you pick a favorite team and make every call on your own — season call, postseason, and weekly picks. You can join or start a league later and keep the same account.

What time zone are kickoff times in?

Every kickoff, deadline and week rollover on Rakkit is shown in Eastern Time, no matter where you are.

Where do the odds and rankings come from?

Spreads, totals, schedules and the AP Top 25 come from a live college football data provider and refresh through the week. Rakkit shows point spreads and over/unders only — no moneylines.

Is Rakkit free? Is there real-money wagering?

Rakkit is free to play and there is no wagering of any kind. It's bragging rights against your friends — spreads and totals are just the yardsticks we score against.

How do I report a bug or ask for something?

Use Contact & feedback at the bottom of any page. Tell us the week, the game and what you saw, and it comes straight to us.

Still stuck?

Tell us what happened and we'll sort it out.
